In February 2021 we asked the East Budleigh Community and users of the Village Hall "What did you want your Village Hall to be?". Through a questionnaire we asked how you use the hall, what space did you want to see and what activities would you like to be part of. As Trustees, we have reviewed your feedback and the plan you see below hopefully reflect your wishes.
The plans provide for: - Better utilisation of outdoor space - Modernisation of the building - Working from home hub - Outdoor public toilet - Disabled toilet facilities integrated with other toilets - Bar area for main Hall separate to kitchen - Small meeting room - Retention of the Snooker Club facilities - Community performances - Stage access reconfigured - Connectivity with the Community Shop - Storage for bins and waste Please have a look at the plans and let us have your thoughts. We will be holding drop-in consultation events for you to come and meet the Trustees and discuss the plans, or please provide your comments via the contact page. The plans are work in progress and we would like to say a huge thank you to Mark Timms, our local architect, for his help so far.
